About VTDI

Nestled in the valley just below Jacks Hill, providing a picturesque view of the beautiful landscape of Kingston 6, is the main campus of the Vocational Training Development Institute, the VTDI. In addition to its main campus in Kingston, the VTDI has two extension sites, one in Mandeville and the other in Montego Bay.

Having been established by virtue of a collaboration among three entities, the International Labour Organization, the United Nations Development Programme and the Government of Jamaica, the VTDI has for over 45 years, been involved in the business of transforming lives through technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
